OUR STORY

"Simply beautiful and all natural"

My name is Melanie Enman. I am a mother, wife, entrepreneur, thalassophyle, artist owner & designer of all things Mainely Tidal. I grew up in a small town just around the corner from Kennebunkport, Maine. As a small child I would spend my summers going to the local beaches always gathering special treasures and leaving them piled up for someone else to come upon.

Years later I was also married to the love of my life David on one of those same beaches.

We have two beautiful daughters.

November of 2017 I was looking for the perfect one-of-a-kind handmade gift. Unique gifts are hard to come by

so I decided to create my own from pebbles, sea glass, driftwood and shells found on the Coast of Maine.

Within a week from creating my first piece of art through word of mouth my orders were coming in and by Christmas

I had made and sold over 60 pieces! Overnight it had become a business and by April of 2018 it was my fulltime "job".

By the time 2021 came around we took a pause and started fresh and came back stronger in late 2022.

In my designs I aim to capture the look, the smell, the feel of the ocean inspired by nature, Sanibel Island and Maine

to create something simply beautiful and natural

with coastal treasures.

Today you will find me running my business and creating new designs that our wonderful team handcrafts for you using treasures and sea glass found on the Coast of Maine and around the world as well as seashells found on the Coast of Sanibel Island, Fl.

In 2022 we moved to South Carolina, we absolutely love it here.

We travel back and forth between Maine and South Carolina to visit our oldest daughter Haley and friends.

I hope you love the beautiful handmade, unique and personalized keepsake gifts for every occasion.

I like to think they have a minimalist coastal vibe. We hope to create something special for you.
